Nightmare in Manchuria:
This film sheds light on the hidden facts of ‘Unit 731’ a Japanese laboratory set up by the Japanese war general ‘Shiro Ishii’ in occupied China to test deadly diseases and weapons of war on live prisoners. The aim of this research was to see and document the effects of war on live human subjects.
The film has archive footage of human experimentation which will shock anyone watching however it is worth sticking with the program to learn about the politics of war and how the allies found ways to cover up Unit 731 in order to secure the research documents for their own gains.

For those of you that like ‘The X Files’ you will know the name Unit 731 as an episode in which humans are kept for war experiments in camps is titled ‘Unit 731’.

I hope you enjoy this Documentary.

Bobby Fischer against the World:
Without a doubt, Chess prodigy Bobby Fischer is one of the most enigmatic personalities of the 20th-century, He was reclusive during his teen years, rumour has it that he slept, ate and bathed with a chess board. Bobby would become the greatest chess player in the world, but everything that goes up must come down.
This documentary is fascinating for two reasons, the first is to see how a chess prodigy is born and finally to see how a chess prodigy becomes embroiled in Cold War-era politics and xenophobia propaganda.
By the end of this film you might find yourself wanting to reach into the TV set to shake some sense into Bobby before he falls of the cliff he so deserved to be on top of, however it is too late.

This is a great film and worthy of a watch whether you like the game of Chess or not.

I really enjoyed the Bobby Fischer film. I think everyone should watch it since it shows how there is a very fine line between genius and insanity.
